COMPUTER SCIENCE GRANT
Technology continues to shape every part of our society and economy. Computer skills are an increasingly important requirement for careers in everything from sales, marketing and journalism to medicine, law and engineering.
In order for students to succeed in school and beyond, it’s especially important for them to learn computer skills and programs. Now more than ever, computer science plays a large role in helping students achieve their goals.
Write an essay or create a short video that explains an Internet-connected technology that you or your students utilize in the classroom. It can be anything from a keyboarding program to software that teaches students to code. Entries are judged on completion of all directions, creativity, opportunity for student enrichment and opportunities for student participation.
