Second Annual Campus Compact CSD Professional Development Retreat

Four days of must-have knowledge for new community service and service-learning professionals!

July 25-29, 2005
DePaul University
Chicago, IL

Designed specifically for those in their first 5 years on the job, this retreat will provide must-have training and knowledge to boost the efficiency and effectiveness of service staff. This unique gathering will offer participants the chance to learn and understand key information and principles in service, service-learning, and higher education; and will allow them to discuss with experienced practitioners the critical questions and skills you need to be successful.

Praise for the 2004 retreat:

This has validated my intuitive understanding of the task at hand and empowered me with more concrete understanding of the many facets involved.?

One of the best conferences I have attended.?

Thank you for your dedication and great efforts, an honor to be in conversation with the legends of the field. It is an important sharing of the story as the next generation of CSDs and SLDs begin our work. Meeting others filled with passion helps me keep my own work and life in perspective and most importantly models for me sustainable passion.

Topics and presenters were all exceptional; I learned some great strategies and gained useful knowledge.

Amazing opportunity to meet with colleagues to share and learn.

This was so well worth my 4 days away from the office! Thank you!
