Chief Financial Officer (Full-Time-Administration)

The (CFO) provides both operational and programmatic support to the organization. The CFO supervises the finance unit and is the chief financial spokesperson for the organization. Directly monitors all strategic and tactical matters as they relate to budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs and the securing of new funding.

Qualifications:

A minimum of a BS; a CPA and/or MBA preferred.
At least five years experience as CFO or equivalent, preferably in a nonprofit with a budget of at least $10 million.
Extensive knowledge and understanding of the Office of Management and Budget Circular A133 audit.
Prepare various analyses and reports required by corporate development efforts
Assists in the completion of project Pro-Formas for various developments using a mix of funding services.
Experience working with information technology staff to manage finance and accounting software packages.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Demonstrated leadership ability, team management, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills, plus excellent organization skills.
Experience in a senior financial-management role, partnering with executive staff, resulting in the development and implementation of creative financial management strategies.
Significant experience in or knowledge of nonprofit accounting, including sophisticated fund and grant accounting, compliance, and reporting.
Prepare various analyses and reports required by corporate development effort
Assists in the completion of project Pro-Formas for various developments using a mix of funding services.
Conduct financial feasibility studies and develops Pro-Formas for real estate development projects
Determines funding requirements for the viability and sustainability of development projects.
Negotiates and/or prepares required documents with financial institutions and equity investors.Assures maintenance of internal controls and compliance with all regulatory and reporting requirements associated with funds received.
MIP Accounting Software experience a plus.
Bilingual and bicultural in English and Spanish (preferred);
