America?s Foundation for Chess Seeking Teaching Assistants to be Chess Mentors
Description: America?s Foundation for Chess (AF4C) has developed a chess curriculum called First Move? that uses chess as a learning tool to increase higher level thinking skills in 2nd and 3rd graders. Chess Mentors will adhere to the regular school hours and calendar with a few evenings per year required for Family Chess Nights.
Basic Qualifications: The Philadelphia Chapter of AF4C seeks self-motivated individuals who care deeply about education, learning, and children.
