Campus Compact 2020 Election Series: Solutions Journalism: A Tool for Creating Civic Empowerment – Oct 7
Posted by Campus Compact on September 22, 2020
Campus Compact is pleased to present a virtual series focused on the 2020 Election. This multi-part series is presented as a program of Campus Compact’s Education for Democracy initiative, preparing students for active and effective participation in public life. Each session will explore different aspects of how colleges and universities can deepen their commitment to and practice with political learning, civic education, and building a diverse democracy through their teaching and learning, student life, and civic engagement. While always connected to the mechanics of voting, this series is designed to complement the numerous resources available related to voter registration and mobilization provided by numerous partners in the field.
These opportunities are being offered free of charge to members, but all participants must register in advance to receive an access link.
Date and Time: October 7, 2020, 3:00 – 4:30 EDT
