Fair Trade Student Organizer Training

Oxfam America is seeking motivated college students to participate in a free 3? day Fair Trade Student Organizer Training program. The program will train participants how to organize Fair Trade Coffee Campaigns on their respective campuses. Student participants will gain skills in organizing, leadership and communication, as well as a greater understanding of issues related to trade, poverty and the struggle for global social justice.

The program is open to college freshmen, sophomores or juniors willing to commit to organizing a Fair Trade Coffee Campaign on campus. Multiple applicants from the same college are welcome. Applications are due to Oxfam by October 2, 2002 (They may be willing to extend the deadline! Contact Oxfam for details!)). There is limited space available, so apply now!

Trainings will be held in Chicago for students on October 24-27, 2002.
