Call for Proposals: New England Environmental Education Alliance Conference

Posted by on March 22, 2010

Join us on Friday, October 22, for a keynote address by Bill McKibben, author, educator, environmentalist and founder of http://350.org, an international climate campaign.

Workshop proposals are now being accepted for the 44th Annual New England Environmental Education Alliance (NEEEA)/Promise of Place (POP) Conference, hosted by SWEEP, Vermont’s State-Wide Environmental Education Programs association.  The merging of the NEEEA and POP conferences allows us to bring together a wide circle of people who, in some capacity, connect people with their place–the human and natural communities.

Conference Strands include:

* CULTIVATING a Sense of Place
* CREATING New Solutions for a Healthy Future
* COLLABORATING to Build Vibrant Communities

Please share this information, along with the attached documents, with your colleagues who share our interest in building a healthy future.

Deadline for submitting workshop proposals is March 30, 2010
