HMC is seeking a part-time Business Development Associate to work with our Senior Business Development team to call on, qualify, and close viable sales opportunities for our growing creative agency. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills as well as intellectual curiosity and a competitive spirit.

This is a great opportunity for a hardworking professional to use their business development skills to improve communities and cities while also building an agency from the ground up. The position demands a professional with effective problem solving skills, impeccable time management, and a strong executive presence. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Conduct prospect research and identification
  • Lead weekly sales team meetings for training, troubleshooting, and progress reporting (in-person preferred but telecommunication acceptable)
  • Utilize cold calling, emails, and LinkedIn outreach to identify business leads and qualified companies to assist with sales goals
  • Ensure that HMC’s CRM software contains accurate account details and contact information for all prospects
  • Support in the development of written business proposals
  • Develop reports on activity and progress of leads from “cold” to “qualified”
  • Steward warm introductions from qualified leads to our Senior Business Development Team
