Keep Philadelphia Beautiful Seeks Board Member with Strong Financial Acumen

About Us

Keep Philadelphia Beautiful is expanding its current board of directors, and seeking an individual with strong financial acumen. This is an opportune moment to join and contribute to the organization, with the board of directors building on twenty years of transformative work, and rolling up their sleeves to focus on the strategic planning and sustainable evolution of the organization for the years to come.

Candidates should have some demonstrated leadership experience, time to commit to strategic planning, and a passion for a sustainable, clean, civically engaged Philadelphia. Preference will be given to candidates with experience and passion for accounting and nonprofit management.

Keep Philadelphia Beautiful convenes, equips and empowers people to use community beautification to achieve vibrant neighborhoods. We collaborate, educate and provide resources to ignite collective action and neighborhood pride. KPB is Philadelphia’s affiliate for Keep America Beautiful, and partners with the City, the School District, and various community based organizations to carry out our mission of empowering citizens to create a more beautiful Philadelphia. We carry out environmental and civic education, plan service opportunities in every section of Philadelphia, and serve as a resource and tool for neighborhood based organizations and residents alike.
