Black Women in Sport Foundation’s 2011 Next Step Women of Color Mini-Forum

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITY FOR PERSONS INTERESTED IN BECOMING COLLEGIATE HEAD COACHES OR ATHLETIC ADMINISTRATORS

The Black Women in Sport Foundation’s 2011 Next Step Women of Color Mini-Forum will be held on Wednesday, April 27th at Temple University’s Tuttleman Learning Center – Room 303 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The Tuttleman Center is located at 1800 N. 13th St. (corner of 13th and Montgomery Ave.). The Forum is being hosted by the Temple University Athletic Department and supported, in part, by the NCAA Division of Diversity and Inclusion. Dress is business casual.

You must RSVP with Ms. Yolanda Brunner, the Philadelphia mini-forum site coordinator, at yolandavsf@hotmail.com for an invitation. Please type ‘Philadelphia” in the subject line of your email.
The mini-forum is a professional development and preparation program to increase the proportion of Women of Color collegiate head coaches and athletic administrators at 4-year NCAA institutions. The mini-forum is an interactive and networking opportunity to discuss and explore strategies to recruit, inspire, educate and retain Women of Color in intercollegiate coaching and athletic administration positions with practicing professionals. Please see attached flyer and forward to others that may be interested. Seating is limited and you must RSVP no later than April 20, 2011.
