Nominations sought for service to children with disabilities
The State Interagency Coordinating Council for Early Intervention is looking for nominations for the 2011 Ronald Cowell Award for Excellence in Service to Young Children with Disabilities and their Families.
Nominations are open to any individual who has had a significant impact on Early Intervention public policy development, Early Intervention practices or staff development. Priority will be given to individuals whose influence had a statewide effect.
Persons eligible include parents, providers of Early Intervention Services, higher education personnel, public policy makers, philanthropists, and others dedicated to Early Intervention.
Nomination information and questions should be emailed Andrea Algatt at aalgatt@pa.gov. Deadline for nominations is Friday, January 20th.
