The ideal Associate Program Director of Communications candidate will be an effective and compassionate leader with a strategic mind and the ability to translate complex concepts into concise and compelling messages for both internal and external audiences.

The Associate Program Director is responsible for crafting and guiding the communications strategy of the Camden Coalition, ensuring that the Coalition’s work in the Camden community, at the state level, and our growing national presence are highlighted with consistent and engaging messaging. This position is also responsible for building and managing relationships with the organization’s key stakeholders: Coalition members, board of directors, board committees, and partners in Camden.

The Associate Program Director reports to the Senior Director of External Affairs, and is a member of the senior leadership team of the organization. As such, the person in this role will work closely with executive leadership and a small communications and stakeholder relations team to achieve public awareness of Camden Coalition programs, initiatives, and accomplishments.
