JOB ANNOUNCEMENT
Associate Executive Director
Center for Responsible Funding
Philadelphia, PA

The Center for Responsible Funding (CRF) is seeking an Associate Executive Director to collaborate with the Executive Director on combined campaigns, strategic planning and fundraising.

Qualifications: Bachelors degree and equivalent work experience. Graduate degree in City Planning, Public Administration, Education, Fundraising, Communication or Training strongly preferred. The individual must be a seasoned administrator and self-motivator with experience in fundraising, volunteer motivation and training, public relations and marketing techniques. Some familiarity with workplace charity drives is preferred. Cooperative values are a must. Computer skills are required.

Responsibilities include the following:
1. Collaborate with Executive Director to plan and implement City of Philadelphia Employees’ Combined Campaign
a. develop a comprehensive plan for the City Combined Campaign
b. serve as liaison to the City’s Co-Chairs Committee and the City’s Campaign Advisory Committee
c. oversee production of Campaign materials including Contributors’ Guide, video, pledge card, training manual, brochure, and bi-monthly newsletters for volunteers
d. design and implement a training program for Campaign volunteers including a speakers bureau
e. review pledge data collected by Center?s Director of Operations and use this data to generate bi-weekly financial reports for Co-Chairs and Advisory Committee members, during length of Campaign
f. develop a public relations program including press relations
g. motivate volunteers and develop an incentive program including collection of prizes, tokens of appreciation, and awards
h. design and implement a kick-off event, thank you reception, and mid-campaign events as appropriate
i. supervise the financial aspects of the campaign, including acting as liaison with the CPA firm that tracks the contributions, the Mayor’s Office for Information Services which keeps the data base, and the independent auditor
2. Collaborate with Executive Director in fundraising for CRF
3. Collaborate with Executive Director in strategic planning for CRF and with CRF-managed combined campaigns
4. Collaborate with Executive Director in developing and implementing a vision for opening up combined campaigns in the region and nationally; consult with employers implementing combined campaigns
5. Perform other duties as assigned

Salary range: $40,000 to $45,000. Benefits include vacation, holidays, family medical leave, medical and dental insurance.

Supervisor: The Associate Executive Director reports to the Executive Director of the Center.
