Qualifications:

  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with university staff, faculty and students
  • Effective customer relations and communication skills
  • Ability to work with a diverse student and administrative customer base
  • Dependability, punctuality, honesty and integrity
  • Ability to prioritize work, manage time and multi-task appropriately
  • Strong skill set with organization
  • Strong background in event and program management
  • Strong background in student organization advising and management
  • Understanding of leadership development theory and concepts as well as facilitation of leadership programs
  • Firm understanding and background in program and learning assessment
  • Strong background in working with students in a campus environment
  • Tech savvy and strong ability with social media

Education Required:
Master’s Degree in higher education or related field preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Advise the Campus Activities Board
  • Oversee the student clubs and organizations program
  • Coordinate the LEAD Co-Curricular Certificate program
  • Coordinate departmental assessment
  • Supervise the OSE Associate for Leadership Development
  • Participate in departmental initiatives such as, but not limited to. Ram Madness,
  • Homecoming, New Student Orientation, Spring Fling, etc.
