Assistant Director, Communities for All Ages Program
Temple University Center For Intergenerational Learning

Interested in helping build communities that are good for growing up and growing older? Communities for All Ages (CFAA) is a multi-site national initiative that promotes the well-being of children/youth, families and older adults and fosters interdependence across ages. A recent grant from the Kellogg Foundation will support the expansion of CFAA to additional sites and the formation of a national CFAA Network. Communities for All Ages is coordinated by the Temple University Center for Intergenerational Learning (CIL), a national leader in strengthening communities by bringing generations together to meet the needs of individuals and families throughout the life cycle (http://www.templecil.org)

The CFAA Assistant Director will report to the Executive Director of the Center for Intergenerational Learning. Major responsibilities include:
•Organizing online and onsite trainings to foster cross-site learning
•Providing ongoing technical assistance to CFAA sites
•Assisting in implementing of a CFAA communications plan
•Overseeing grants management
•Assisting in fundraising efforts
Considerable travel will be involved in this position.

Qualified candidates must possess a master’s degree in urban planning, social work, organizational development, public health or related fields and have a minimum of three years experience related to community building/development. Candidates must have a demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office; excellent verbal and written communication skills; and strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
