AmeriCorps Program Manager will play a critical role in increasing RTP’s capacity to maximize impact on low-income homeowners and to ensure the quality and sustainability of the repairs completed for individuals. The focus of this position is to increase the number of skilled volunteers; coordinate the evaluation of repair quality; prepare and educate homeowners to maintain improvements to their home; and evaluate volunteer experience and homeowner satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Ability to assess home repairs given advanced training or proper resources
• Construction skills or background working within the construction industry desired
• Some experience or ability to manage or direct large groups of people
• Ability to speak and present to large groups
• Must feel comfortable traveling through urban neighborhoods
• Effective and concise communication skills; both verbal and in writing
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Able to lift 25 pounds
• Must have own transportation, valid driver’s license
