Africa and the African Diaspora: Together We Move Forward, Dec. 2

Posted by Global Africans on November 26, 2019

Global Africans are sponsoring the former African Union Ambassador to the USA, Dr. Arikana Chihombori-Quao, to speak in Philadelphia on December 2, 2019.

Main Event: 2:30-4:30 PM at Community College of Philadelphia, Winnet Student Building, Room S2-03

Reception: 6-8 PM, Philadelphia City Hall Caucus Room

Dr. Chihombori-Quao is a diplomat, public speaker, medical doctor, educator, founder of medical clinics, and an entrepreneur who is the CEO and founder of Bell Family Medical Centers. She moved to the United States after living many years in Zimbabwe and is quoted as saying, “It takes a village to raise a child. There are many who say ‘Africa doesn’t matter.’ We need to come together as one to raise the physical boundaries in Africa, but to do that we need first to deconlonize the black mind. We need to take time to sincerely inventory who we are and how we were colonized, otherwise the battle is going to be lost.”

The public is invited to both events.
