We are pleased to announce our 2nd Annual Golf Classic on Monday, August 19, 2013 at the LuLu Country Club in North Hills, PA. We will have a 1:00 PM Shotgun. This will be a unique golf tournament that will be a full day of exciting events including a lunch, Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin and Hole in One contests, a Basket of Cheer raffle, a silent auction, dinner and many great prizes.

The Montgomery County Community Action Development Commission (CADCOM) is a nonprofit agency with 501(c)(3) status established in 1966 to stimulate, fund, and implement numerous community programs as the County’s lead anti-poverty agency. Annually, we serve more than 250,000 low- income individuals and fami-lies living in Montgomery County.

Our goals include: (1) providing for the needs of low-income County residents; (2) empowering homeless and low-income residents to achieve self-sufficiency; and (3) coordinating efforts with other organizations providing services to the poor.

Proceeds from the event will go towards the funding of CADCOM programs which include: the Food Resource Center, Supportive Housing and Emergency Community Services Program, the Fatherhood Initiative Program, the Weatherization Program, Microenterprise Resource Center and Asset Development.

Guest of Honor
This year we will be honoring former Temple University Men’s Basketball Coach John Chaney for his work in nurturing and mentoring young men throughout his 30+ year career. We hope you will join us! John will be joining us on the golf course and will be honored during our dinner ceremony.
