Greater Philadelphia Coalition Against Hunger
23rd Annual Walk Against Hunger – Apr 27
Each year The Walk Against Hunger raises around $200,000 for anti-hunger organizations throughout our region. In 2018 those included nearly 70 food pantries and soup kitchens, who feed thousands of people each month. The Coalition created this event more than two decades ago to provide support to the hundreds of small, mostly volunteer-run pantries and soup kitchens in our region struggling to meet the needs of their communities. In that respect The Coalition’s Walk has been a huge success.

But there’s another way that the event is impactful — The Walk Against Hunger brings hundreds of community members together for a day of food, fun, and entertainment. It allows us to do something important and active to end hunger right in our own neighborhoods!
