The 2005 Nonprofit Strategies Forum: Diversity in Fundraising will be devoted to helping nonprofits adapt to the new realities of raising money in a racially diverse world and from racially diverse sources.

The full-day forum will include a keynote address presented by Diana S. Newman, CFRE, author of “Opening Doors: Pathways to Diverse Donors,” a networking session, a panel discussion, a nonprofit resources expo, and eight specialized workshops in which participants will learn practical fundraising strategies.

?Too many nonprofits rely on the perception that donations only come from white, wealthy men,? says Nonprofit Center Director Laura Otten, Ph.D. ?Our Forum will broaden nonprofits? perspective by exploring the charitable traditions of African Americans, Latinos, Asians, women, and people of different economic levels.?
